Rich Saffield Memorial Scholarship

The Rich Saffield Memorial Scholarship was established by Carol Meholovich Saffield in memory of her husband. Rich, BHS Class of 1958, was a long time teacher and basketball coach at several schools in the area. The scholarship is a $500.00 award for a student majoring in education. The applicant must have a high school GPA of 3.2 or higher to apply. No funds for the award shall be paid to any person other than the institution the student is attending. 

 

Guidelines for the Saffield Award

Applications for the award are maintained in the Bellaire High School Guidance Office. All applications for the award must be submitted in completed form to the Guidance Office not later than April 15 to be considered for the Award to be made in May at the Bellaire High School Awards Assembly.
