VLE Scholarship

This scholarship was established to assist students who have been in the band, choir and thespians or those who have taken part in athletics. Any senior, with a 2.5 GPA or better, who is attending college locally to pursue a two-year or four-year degree or attend a trade school may apply for this award. Students attending Ohio University Eastern, Belmont College, Wheeling Jesuit University, Bethany College, West Liberty University, West Virginia Northern Community College, Franciscan University or Scott College of Cosmetology are eligible to apply. The award will be presented to one student from the arts and one athlete in the amount of $250.00. No funds for the award shall be paid to any person other than the institution the student is attending

Applications for the award are maintained in the Bellaire High School Guidance Office. All applications for the award must be submitted in completed form to the Guidance Office not later than April 15 to be considered for the Award to be made in May at the Bellaire High School Awards Assembly.
